Account Specialist - Client Accounting Services
Job Summary:
The CAS Account Specialist will primarily be responsible for coding data transactions in QuickBooks Online, and then performing appropriate bank/credit card reconciliations and data manipulation.

Duties/Responsibilities:
· Performs general cost accounting and other related duties for clients as engaged.
· Codes data transactions in QuickBooks Online for bank accounts and credit cards.
· Maintain the general ledger for clients.
· Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the books for clients based on engagement letters.
· Provides payroll support to clients
· Provides support for tax staff & management regarding information requested for tax return compliance.
· Files tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
· Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Knowledge of general and specific payroll tax and sales tax regulations.
· Ability to correctly prepare tax reports.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software.

Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred, but not required.
· At least three to five years of related experience is required.

Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
